  I am amazed at the overall low rating for Mediterraneo. I live in the area and have dinned here for lunch and dinner often. Maybe I've just been lucky, but every meal I have had was good or very good and service has always been friendly and on point.

  A few outdoor tables are the best kept secret for a romantic lunch/dinner. The warm & cozy interior might make you feel like you're eating on the Amalfi coast in Italy anytime of the year. This is your Arthur Ave. restaurant in Westchester. Authentic Italian / Mediterranean flair combining the shared epicurean talents of Owner "Reno" and culinary trained chef "ANDREW'. It's getting rare to find a restaurant where the owner/chef still actually cooks. They also make the best homemade pizza European style. Live music on Wednesdays evenings.

  Not sure about some of the previous reviews, this place has always been great. The food is phenomenal, much better than other local places. If you want "cheap" food ("more bang for your buck"), go to a pizzeria. If you want authentic and delicious dishes, eat here. The food does cost a bit, but it's fresh and worth it.
